The RTA has finished upgrading Al Marabea' Street, the 1.1 kilometre link between Al Khail Road and Al Asayel Street in Al Quoz. The corridor now carries 30 per cent more traffic, with peak journeys up to 30 per cent quicker. A new lane at the Street 16A junction has halved congestion there, and new lighting now lines the route. Short as it is, the street is a key connector feeding Al Quoz's warehouses, now increasingly creative and commercial space, onward to Meydan, Business Bay and Downtown.
