Parkin keeps JLT's 2,800 paid parking bays for another 10 years: what owners and tenants should read into it
Parkin has renewed its exclusive right to run paid parking in Jumeirah Lakes Towers for 10 more years. The Parking Management Framework Agreement with the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre was announced on 21 October 2026. Neither side disclosed a contract value.
The deal covers about 2,800 bays, 250 of them for motorcycles, under one operator. Parkin handles day to day operation and collects payment through digital and physical channels. It will also install solar power infrastructure at the site.
Paul Ashton, chief property officer at DMCC, called the renewal another step in improving the JLT community experience. Parkin chief executive Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali described the district as an important part of the company's portfolio.
Who owns the solar assets, and whether any revenue reaches residents' service charges, has not been published.
