Dubai Creek Gardens breaks ground: AED 3 billion, 1,400 homes and the UAE's first Westin and Renaissance branded residences

Dubai Healthcare City Authority has broken ground on Dubai Creek Gardens, a residential project valued at AED 3 billion on the Al Jaddaf side of Dubai Creek. The development will include more than 1,400 homes and is scheduled for completion in 2030.
Global Partners Ltd is the developer, with the Dubai Healthcare City Authority a founding shareholder in Global Partners Property Fund II, the fund financing the project. The 127,000 square metre site sits in Phase 2 of the district, with about 70 per cent of the land allocated to gardens, parks, sports grounds and open space. Retail and dining facilities are also planned. German foundation specialist BAUER Spezialtiefbau has begun piling work on site.
Part of the project will be sold as branded residences under Marriott International's Westin and Renaissance names, marking the first use of both brands in the UAE. Mirage Leisure and Development and OCTA Properties attended the groundbreaking ceremony alongside Marriott.
